- Course Description
- This service-learning course requires a minimum total of 20 service hours over 10 weeks.
This course offers students the opportunity to serve with a local community organization and to advocate for its mission, events, and/or initiatives through storytelling. Students will learn to collect materials for stories, to create them, and/or to pitch collected stories to the Bloomington and neighboring communities. In turn, your service and stories will provide
starting points for research into a related public issue, with the goal of communicating publicly and persuasively on the issue.
