Assistant Professor Nikki Skillman’s The Lyric in the Age of the Brain (Harvard) was co-winner of the 2015 Thomas J. Wilson Memorial Prize, awarded by Harvard University Press “to an author’s first book manuscript that is judged outstanding in content, style, and mode of presentation.” The author’s “mastery of a field of interest and ability to make a special contribution to some major problem in that field” are a determining factor in awarding the prize.
