Topic: "From Oedipus to The Curious Incident of a Dog in the Night-time"
This course will begin with the work of classical and canonical playwrights -- Sophocles, Shakespeare, Ibsen, Chekhov, and Beckett -- before moving to the contemporary stage and the dramatic experimentation of Marina Carr, Lynn Nottage, Sarah Kane, Martin McDonagh, and Simon Stephens.
