Collaborative Digital Writing

W241 — Fall 2020

Course Description
In today’s global workplace, collaboration skills are in demand. But few classes really teach you the strategies and processes to make collaboration work! In W241, we partner with a local nonprofit on a real-world case to develop the integrated set of teamwork, writing, and digital skills you need to become an ace collaborator. This is a workshop-oriented class integrating service learning and digital forms of public and professional writing through online collaborations. You’ll work in teams addressing real community needs through research and writing that culminates in a portfolio show-casing your individually – and team-authored documents.
