Study a variety of approaches to the narrative representation of the sciences, from science writing, to science fiction, literatures of the environment, ecocriticism, health, science communication, and rhetorics of science. Build a humanities-focused skill set emphasizing critical thinking and creative innovation to supplement and augment future science-based or science-focused careers. Concentration develops aptitudes for a wide range of sectors, including medicine and diverse health-based fields, public health, social work, and public policy.
