- Course Description
Advocacy and Debate centers on the role of debate in public life and its applications for public advocacy and democratic institutions. Over the course of the semester, students will read foundational theories of the role of debate in democratic societies and engage in multiple competitive debates against other classmates. Recommended for students interested in pre-law, or considering entering non-profit, public policy, or advocacy fields after graduation. Instructor: Kurt Zemlicka
